Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Use state how you may use the sikadan homes Platform and Services. Please read these Terms of Use carefully. We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time without notice to you. By using our Platform or Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing immediately upon said use to the Terms of Use as they appear, and agree that you are legally bound by them, whether or not you have read them. If at any time you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use our Platform or Services.

We are a facility management firm that deliver value for both tenants (renters) and Landlords. All listed House/Apartments on this platform are managed by Sikadan Homes with the exception of those that may be defined. Prior to becoming a tenants , you should be willing and ready to sign  our Tenancy Agreement. 

OUR TENANCY AGREEMENT

Below are our key tenancy terms which must be studied , understood and signed by the tenant:

IV. SECURITY DEPOSIT (BOND)
The Tenants agree to pay a security deposit of one month i.e GHcX. The Security Deposit is to be refunded
upon leaving the residency, terminating this contract, and returning the keys to the Landlord. The Security Deposit
will cover for any damage to the premise. This Security Deposit will also cover in case the Tenant fails to pay the
utility bills.

V. UTILITIES
Tenants will be responsible for paying all utilities like electricity, water, gas, telephone, cable, and internet.

VI. MAINTENANCE AND DAMAGES
Tenant shall keep the premises in good condition. The Tenant will be responsible for any damage caused which
means the Tenant will pay all the expenses in fixing it.
Tenants shall follow reasonable standards of cleanliness. Written permission from the landlord is needed for any
alterations.
The Landlord may enter the premises for the purposes of inspection, repair, maintenance, and emergency.

VII. OCCUPANCY
The number of occupants is unlimited. It will only be occupied by the Tenant and whoever she/he decides to
host without subletting.

VIII. TENANCY RENEWAL
Tenant must indicate interest of renewal within a minimum period of 90 days before rent expires. This can be
made formally to the assigned Property Officer. If the house is not renewed for a period of 10 consecutive
days after the date of expiry, the place is considered vacant for new occupancy.

IX. PROPERTY OFFICER ASSIGNED
This House is assigned to our Property Officer who will be responsible for managing any related tenant-landlord and
maintenance issues.

X. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed under the laws of Ghana.
We, the undersigned, hereby agreed that we have read this agreement and bounded by its terms and conditions
